So let me tell you a story…
It was the second time Collin had come to visit me in Oklahoma. It was the end of May, just after I graduated high school. He came to visit me and he went to my nana’s funeral with my family and I and he spent time with my nephew, and everything was great. But one day, we were having some rough weather. May is pretty much peak timing for tornados in Oklahoma. It was pouring and storming pretty crazily, and I was really excited because I love storms. There were some tornados popping up all around Oklahoma, and my mom was freaking out. Then, one tornado was getting kind of (but not really) that close to my town, and the tornado sirens began to ring. This all freaked collin out, and it was really entertaining to me. He was so cute, he tells me that he just though tornados were only on tv! Hahah. Then, his phone was dying or something so he ran out to his car to get his charger or whatever it was in the pouring rain and crazy wind and lightning. My mom was then even more freaked out because she thought he might get struck by lightning or hit by a tornado. He finally ran back inside and he was completely soaked. It was so cute.
This tornado made me think of that. It’s one of my favorite memories of his visit to oklahoma.
